PEDAL Consulting launches professional proposal writing as a dedicated service

For years, proposal development has been central to everything we do. We have written, coordinated, reviewed and submitted dozens of competitive EU and international funding proposals. We have supported consortia through some of the most demanding Horizon Europe calls, shaped work packages, built impact narratives, and guided coordinators. Throughout that time, we have regularly been asked by organisations outside our consortium to help with their proposal preparation. Until now, the honest answer was: not formally. That has recently changed now.

What the service covers

We are offering proposal writing and coordination support in four configurations:

Option 1: Full proposal support, without PEDAL joining the consortium

We act as your external proposal development team coordinating and writing the full proposal, from administrative inputs and budget preparation through to technical narrative, work packages, impact logic and submission readiness.

Option 2: Full proposal support, with PEDAL joining as a consortium partner

We develop the proposal while also participating in the project. This is the natural fit when our expertise adds genuine value to the implementation. Fee structure mirrors Option 1, but PEDAL’s continued involvement runs through the project itself.

Option 3 – PEDAL joins as a partner only

We participate in the consortium and contribute specifically to sections aligned with our role: communication, dissemination, exploitation, stakeholder engagement, FSTP, clustering, and innovation-related tasks. No proposal writing fee is charged, provided PEDAL holds a clearly defined role and budget in the submitted proposal.

Option 4: Matchmaking services: Integration into existing consortia  

We include your entity in R&D proposals, as long as your profile matches with the call and the proposal requirements. Under this scenario, you are responsible for writing your technical inputs and performing your administrative duties, related to the proposal preparation, negotiation, and project execution.
