After 15 years of operation, with its most recent update in 2015, the SET Plan (Strategic Energy Technology Plan) will be revised to make it fit for the new political context (eg. EU Green Deal, REPowerEU) for deploying smart clean energy solutions.
The European Strategic Energy Technology Plan aims to accelerate the deployment of green technologies – SET Plan is a key stepping-stone to boost the transition towards a climate neutral energy system through the development of low-carbon technologies in a fast and cost-competitive way.
The European Commission has initiated a public consultation, in the form of Call for Evidence. The contributions will be used as an input for the SET Plan revision.
