What if the future of food could grow in water and help heal the planet? That’s the vision behind INNOAQUA, a pioneering EU-funded project bringing together scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Their aim is clear: rethinking aquaculture with one powerful natural ingredient — microalgae. On 30 June – 1 July 2025, the 4th Bi-Annual Meeting of the project brought together 16 partners from 7 countries in sunny Nice, France. The event marked a vibrant exchange of knowledge, results and bold ideas on how microalgae can be integrated into sustainable aquaculture systems and innovative, healthy food products.

The METAVERSE project is a pioneering European initiative aimed at accelerating education and innovation in immersive technologies. Supported by a consortium of leading academic and industry partners, METAVERSE focuses on developing advanced educational resources, fostering entrepreneurial skills, and preparing a new generation of professionals to thrive in the rapidly evolving XR (Extended Reality) landscape. At the core of this initiative is the creation of a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platform, offering accessible, high-quality training in both technical and non-technical areas.

Jednou z možností financovania výstavby bioplynovej stanice je získanie prostriedkov z programu Horizont Európa. Jedná sa o rámcový program EÚ pre výskum a inovácie na roky 2021 – 2027. Podporuje projekty zamerané na udržateľný rozvoj a obnoviteľné zdroje energie, medzi ktoré zaraďujeme aj bioplyn. Podmienkou získania finančnej podpory je, aby projekt prispieval k inováciám a udržateľnosti.

Spear-headed by a top Spanish food-tech center AINIA, CITRUSBUSTERS will deliver early warning systems, resilient plant varieties, and nature-based pest control solutions.

Viac k tejto téme sme pre vás pripravili v rámci 2. kola kampane na zvyšovanie povedomia o bioplyne „Spoločne za bioplyn“. Pripravili sme ju v spolupráci so Slovenskou bioplynovou asociáciou, pod hlavičkou iniciatívy ALFA.

V Košiciach sa začína písať nový príbeh energetiky. Konkrétny, praktický a s reálnymi prínosmi pre ľudí, samosprávy aj firmy. Nová iniciatíva EASTGATEH2V vytvára prvé integrované vodíkové údolie na Slovensku. Prinesie čistejší vzduch, modernejšiu dopravu, nové pracovné miesta a inovatívne technológie priamo do regiónu.
