How do you build a strong Horizon Europe consortium? You don’t start at the proposal deadline. You start much earlier. By connecting the right people, aligning expertise, and testing real collaboration potential. That was the clear focus of matchmaking event “Partnering for Horizon Europe 2026 – Building Consortia in Circular & Bio-Based Innovation” organised online on 22 April.

Entrepreneurs, innovators, experts, and practitioners active in circular economy, sustainable business models, and women’s entrepreneurship headed to Bratislava (Slovakia) on 25 March 2025. The reason? An international WE.Circular Pop-up Store event which was held at the AC Hotel Bratislava by the Slovak Business Agency. The full-day event attracted about 70 participants from across Europe, including PEDAL Consulting.

During the INSPIRE project meeting in Košice organised by PEDAL Consulting, partners combined strategic discussions with hands-on engagement to advance social inclusion and community-driven innovation. From the Roma community in the Luník IX borough to students with disabilities at the Technical University of Košice, the focus was clear: understand real challenges faced by vulnerable groups and turn them into practical solutions through Smart Village Labs.

Open Horizons project has officially launched its third and final Open Call under Horizon Europe. Women-led digital and deep-tech startups now have one last opportunity to secure up to €55,000 in equity-free funding, gain access to paid corporate pilots, and join a European network accelerating innovation. Applications are open until 19 May 2026, 17:00 CEST.

Last year, many of the strategic moves we had been preparing finally came to life. Our second transition year focused on strengthening the company’s investor readiness. We successfully advanced across several strategic areas while continuing to deliver impactful European projects together with our partners. At the same time, we kept doing what we do best – supporting collaboration across Europe and turning ambitious project ideas into real, working solutions.

Podpora slovenského startup ekosystému získava nový rozmer. Viac než dve desiatky projektov a iniciatív so slovenskou účasťou spájajú svoje aktivity, aby startupom uľahčili prístup k podpore, financovaniu a medzinárodným príležitostiam. PEDAL Consulting, s.r.o. sa veľmi rád pripojil k tejto celonárodnej spolupráci.

29 January 2026, Porto (Portugal): Reducing aviation emissions while keeping Europe competitive is the goal of HyperMorpH. A new initiative kicks-off to develop a new generation of hydrogen-powered, hybrid-electric aircraft propulsion systems. Funded under the Horizon Europe programme with a total budget of €4,999,397.66, the 3.5-year project brings together a consortium of seven European partners combining expertise in aerospace engineering, hydrogen technologies, propulsion systems and applied research.

Európska transformácia smerom k čistej energii potrebuje viac než len inovatívne technológie. Potrebuje ľudí, ktorí im rozumejú a vedia ich používať. Projekt GreenVOCnet vznikol s cieľom pomôcť preklenúť tento nedostatok zručností – najmä modernizáciou odborného vzdelávania a posilnením mladých ľudí, vrátane mladých žien, aby sa vydali na kariérnu dráhu v oblasti udržateľnej energie.

Europe’s clean energy transition needs more than innovative technologies. It needs people who understand how to use them. The GreenVOCnet project was created to help fill this skills gap. Mainly by modernising vocational education and empowering young people, including young women, to pursue careers in sustainable energy. To achieve this, the project is developing a set of practical and accessible digital tools that bring heat pump and green hydrogen technologies closer to students, teachers, and training organisations.

Na Slovensku vznikol na jeseň 2025 Národný hub pre obehové hospodárstvo. Ide o spoločnú iniciatívu Ministerstva pôdohospodárstva a rozvoja vidieka SR, Bioeconomy Clustra, Národného poľnohospodárskeho a potravinárskeho centra a Národného lesníckeho centra. PEDAL Consulting sa k tejto platforme pripojil s ambíciou aktívne podporovať prechod Slovenska na obehové a udržateľné hospodárstvo.
