Leading European research and technology infrastructures, Big Science Organisations as well as EU-funded projects gathered at Copenhagen on 22.-23. October 2025. The one-of-its-kind Research and Technology Infrastructures Summit 2025 provided them with the unique opportunity to explore the ways to shape innovation, competitiveness, and resilience in Europe. Hosted under the Danish EU Presidency, PEDAL Consulting proudly presented the INPROCAP initiative and its activities there.

Agrokomplex in Nitra celebrated half a century of its existence this year. From 3. – 7. September, the exhibition grounds were filled with farmers, students, families, and experts from across Slovakia and abroad. More than 92,000 visitors attended. From European Specialisation Programme to interactive online courses on photovoltaics and energy management, via the Green Portal and youth competitions to practical suggestions how to improve the challenges renewable energy sector is facing today – SKILLBILL has built wealth of resources. They will continue to prepare Europe’s workforce for the renewable energy transition.

ALFA project partners and key stakeholders from the biogas and livestock sectors will meet at the ALFA Final Event and Policy Roundtable. Taking place in Brussels, it will bring together agricultural leaders, energy experts, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from across Europe.

As the ROBIN project approaches its conclusion, we are proud to present two flagship publications. They capture the knowledge, tools, and insights generated over nearly three years of collaborative work. The ROBIN Policy Briefs and the ROBIN White Paper together offer not only strategic guidance. But also practical solutions to support European regions in building resilient, inclusive, and place-based circular bioeconomy governance models.

Radosť, hrdosť a silný odkaz pre budúcnosť. Tak by sa dala opísať atmosféra na Spojenej škole v Piešťanoch. Navštívili sme ju osobne, aby sme odovzdali ocenenia víťazom európskej súťaže SKILLBILL Green Contest. Tím žiakov so zdravotným znevýhodnením si vďaka svojmu výnimočnému projektu – videu „YES, I CAN!“ – získal srdcia odbornej poroty aj širokej verejnosti.

Európsky projekt GenB po troch rokoch uzatvára svoje aktivity. Počas svojho trvania ukázal, že aj komplexné témy ako biohospodárstvo, či cirkulárna ekonomika sa dajú sprostredkovať mladým ľuďom – zrozumiteľne a pútavo. O jeho aktivitách a bohatej ponuke nielen vzdelávacích materiálov, ktoré sú a budú dostupné aj po jeho skončení, sa môžete dočítať práve tu a teraz. 

What if the future of food could grow in water and help heal the planet? That’s the vision behind INNOAQUA, a pioneering EU-funded project bringing together scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Their aim is clear: rethinking aquaculture with one powerful natural ingredient — microalgae. On 30 June – 1 July 2025, the 4th Bi-Annual Meeting of the project brought together 16 partners from 7 countries in sunny Nice, France. The event marked a vibrant exchange of knowledge, results and bold ideas on how microalgae can be integrated into sustainable aquaculture systems and innovative, healthy food products.

The METAVERSE project is a pioneering European initiative aimed at accelerating education and innovation in immersive technologies. Supported by a consortium of leading academic and industry partners, METAVERSE focuses on developing advanced educational resources, fostering entrepreneurial skills, and preparing a new generation of professionals to thrive in the rapidly evolving XR (Extended Reality) landscape. At the core of this initiative is the creation of a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platform, offering accessible, high-quality training in both technical and non-technical areas.

Politické odporúčania a praktické riešenia pre zelenšiu ekonomiku Slovenska zazneli na konferencii „Otvorenie cesty k systémovej zmene“ v Banskej Bystrici 18. júna 2025. Aké politické opatrenia môžu naozaj fungovať na Slovensku? Ako pripraviť samosprávy na triedený zber textilu? Prečo je technická konopa jedným z najperspektívnejších stavebných materiálov budúcnosti? Aj tieto otázky rezonovali medzi účastníkmi podujatia.
